provides knife sharpening services to business and residential customers in The Portland area. I use primarily use Japanese waterstones, but also diamond abrasives, or whatever the job calls for. I charge a flat fee to sharpen any knife with repairs or modifications extra.

How It works to get an appointment


​Please email me or click the button below to schedule all services. Dropoff your knives at my Lake Oswego home in the Blue Heron neighborhood as mobile services are not available. Once we set up a time I’ll send you my address. Turnaround time for sharpening is typically 24 hours from your dropoff on weekdays. Friday dropoffs will be ready on Mondays. If you just have a knife or two that don’t require big repairs I can typically sharpen while you wait. Classes can be held in your home.

$8 a knife any length

Classes:

$100 per person for sharpening lessons, knife skills classes, or knife safety classes. These are Available for all skill levels and class durations are two hours. You’ll leave being able to confidently sharpen a knife. Inquire about Group rates for businesses.
